Course Objectives

1. Internalize fundamental principles and methodologies essential for effectively operating within the EMDR protocol.
2. Critically evaluate and apply the various methodologies for target sequence treatment planning in EMDR.
3. Demonstrate clinical application of writing SMART goals, objectives and progress notes with peers.
4. Acquire comprehensive knowledge regarding the contrast between progress notes and psychotherapy notes, facilitating the implementation of accurate and ethical documentation practices in therapy settings.
5. Document all 8 phases of EMDR and demonstrate ability to document within the protocol.

Course Description: This course provides a comprehensive exploration of the Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) protocol, with a focus on its fundamental principles and methodologies.
